About Us
Jericho Road Port Alberni is a growing Christian community (about 80 members at present) with wide open hearts and arms ready to welcome you and share our lives and journey. We are affiliated to the new emerging Anglican Coalition in North America with a contemporary and interctive flavor.
We celebrate the fact that we are all ‘in process’ and that our relationships with God as Father involve worship, gathering together, humor, patience, encouragement, healing… and lots more. We believe the words we read in the Bible about Jesus and his ministry is what we can enter into and experience today but we have to take some risks to get there. We desire to be a safe place where we can all grow and be transformed into all God desires us to become – which is empowered, passionate, and a people of joy and hope in a troubled world. So you definitely don’t have to be perfect to join us 
We take seriously God’s life and presence revealed and available in the person of the Holy Spirit…. That understanding the truth of Christianity today involves integrity of lifestyle, humility of character, and a dependence on God to do ‘more than we can ask or imagine.’ We believe that Christianity is defined by community, unconditional love, and is meant to be an exciting adventure for the rest of our lives.
